The language visa is usually issued for a period of up to 12 months and is tied to participation in an intensive language course.
Requirements for a Language Visa
To apply, the following requirements generally need to be met:

Enrollment in an intensive German course (at least 18 lessons per week)

Proof of financial means (e.g., a blocked account or a formal obligation letter)

Health insurance for the duration of the stay

Proof of accommodation in Germany

Application at the German embassy or consulate in your home country

With a language visa, working is only limited or not permitted.
